~ Brand new competition for you to get your claws into! ~

Hello everyone!

Sorry for the lack of correspondence of late - it's been a bit manic over the last few months and I've had to cull my internet use a bit. I have missed you all though... hope you're all keeping well.

I wanted to let you know that the Soho Theatre and the Forum are running a new competition for you all - the prize of which is 2 tickets to see a fairly new cabaret diva, Meow Meow. I've put the flyer below for you and all of the details for her London run can be found here. The competition is to come up with the most outrageous and cat-related pun and it'll be judged by your very own Aunty Mabel. The winner gets 2 free tickets to the show and their cat-pun displayed in all of it's glory on the forum.

Meow Meow has a website, which can be found right here and it should give you an overview of what to expect. Suffice to say, I'm sure any fan of the Tiger Lillies will like her stuff. She's also been in La Clique and worked alongside Justin Bond who you'll all know from the Sinderella performance by the TL's.

So - you'll need to email your a-mews-ing pun to auntymabel@tigerlilliesforum.com and have this across to us by the 6th March. We'll judge the entries and have a winner by the 7th March. We'll notify the winner to arrange a suitable date straight away. (This is likely to be the 24th or 25th March, so check you're free those days!)

PS - There will be another competition coming up in a couple of months to co-inside with the TL's UK run. I've got a copy of the DVD up for grabs and I'll see what else I can dig out. It may well be another Q&A related one - get thinking of some more insulting and outlandish questions you want to ask the guys... Very Happy

The comp was won by a mystery emailer - who thus far hasn't been in touch to claim his free tickets... I believe there may be a Soho offer for anyone on here who would like to see her over the next couple of weeks. Welly and I saw her last week and I was really impressed - a lovely voice and a charismatic performance. If you're in two minds about going to the Soho, it's worth the trip!
